This hotel project is located on the coastline of Kalamata. With a buzzing street life, popular beaches and beautiful coastline views, the ambition of the project was to create a unique experience of the city’s coastline with careful attention given to outdoor spaces, green roofs, and private verandas.
Inspired by the wave-breaks which are a unique feature of the hotels view, each veranda is orientated individually to provide privacy, shelter from the elements and a unobstructed perspective of the waterfront. The harsh materials complemented by timber details, delicate glass finishings, and warm interiors are an effort to discuss permanence, durability, and intimacy.
