"Carrying on from where one left off" can summarize the theme of the project. The original framework was abandoned before the project was every completed decades ago. With a reimagining of its layout and careful attention to construction methods a once derelict building site was transformed into a luxurious 4 floor residence meters away from the city main beach strip. With a low carbon footprint, repurpose and reuse are overarching themes through the project, from the building itself down to the minute details such as the 'decorative pieces and furniture.
